Victor is a fortified wine named after our son Victor Georg. The wine is made using the port method, where fermentation is stopped with fine grape brandy. The wine is produced with 100% Golubok (a hybrid - a cross between Cabernet Franc and Henri Bouschet).
Intense aroma of cherries, cream, butter, roasted almonds and sherry notes. Deep Oloroso red with great intensity. The wine hangs long and beautiful in the glass. And you sense a wine that can hold its own, with hints of both port and sherry, yet keeping its Nordic character. The wine is aged for minimum 16 months in 10-year-old Olorosso sherry casks. We produce max. 100 liters per year.
The grapes come from vines from 2009. All grapes are grown according to organic principles. No additives other than sulphites are added to the wine.
