PASSIONE is a red wine of the brand Stokkebye & Friends. The wine is selected by Stokkebye and is blended by Stokkebye’s good friend Peter Vinding-Diers in Sicily. Peter is passioned and renowned globally for his wines and his groundbreaking work with yeast.

The vineyard Montecarrubo is situated on the eastern slopes of Sicily. PASSIONE has fermented 20 months in French oak. The red wine is blended from nearby vineyards and consists of Merlot 35%, Syrah 5%, and Cabernet Franc 60%. Alc.14,5%

Primarily Cabernet Franc blended with Merlot and some Syrah. 20 months in French oak. From the hand of Peter Vinding-Diers. A full-bodied and powerful wine with notes of black berry, green herbs, licorice and pepper. The oak is well balanced. Round and fine tannins meet an upright wine. Long finish and all in all, a well made wine backed by fine layers.

Passione is a classic glass of wine. The Master Blender Peter Vinding-Diers has done it again; put together three grape varietals, not normally used together but here, parts of a whole. From Syrah, creamy ripe cherries and smokey notes with dry cured beef and then the refreshing herbs, and from Cabernet Franc, cool Danish blackcurrants. Spiced by cloves from the oak and first and foremost, a Mediterranean dark wine with elements of cool northern European philosophy.
